Our whistleblowing service empowers your business to stay informed of internal misconduct, enabling you to act on it and prevent unnecessary damage.

What is a whistleblower?

A whistleblower is a person who leaks information, historically speaking often to the press, in order to reveal irregularities in an organisation.

A revolutionary phenomenon

The phenomenon of whistleblowing has for the past few years gotten great media attention in cases like Edward Snowden. Campaigns such as #metoo have kept the spotlight on unjust actions that can not be tolerated. Sweden has reinforced its laws to protect whistleblowers. Whistleblowing has become an important tool to create a sustainable corporation as well as society.

The strengths of whistleblowing

  • Promotes destructive patterns to surface in order to address them before damage is done.
  • Signals a will to act rightfully to collaborators and clients.
  • Reinforces the brand.

Why an external whistleblower service?

  • An increased trust that the matter is reviewed and handled correctly.
  • Anonymity is perceived as safer.
  • Cases are handled by qualified and competent personnel

How does WH!BLER work?

    1. The Whistleblower calls WH!BLER’s phone service, which is manned at all times.
The communicator that receives the call helps the Whistleblower to create a report with the information needed for the case to be assessed effectively. The phone service is completely anonymous – the number is not saved and there are no digital traces.
    2. The Whistleblower receives a case number that he or she can use when calling WH!BLER to obtain updates on how the case is being handled or to leave additional information.
    3. WH!BLER’s independent personell assess the case within 24 hours, starting when the report is completed. The assessment determines whether the case describes a serious misconduct according to Swedish law and/or the company’s values.
    4. If the report indicates serious misconduct, WH!BLER’s independent personell will initiate an investigation and will report as needed to Swedish authorities and/or the company management.
    5. If the report shows no serious misconduct the report is directly sent back to the company for internal actions and measures.

If needed, WH!BLER will  also offer managers and leaders support on how to handle the company’s misconducts.

Whistleblowing service is an important tool to create a sustainable society”
